Good point. I hear there is still an active chapter over there. Some people marry people too that they think are open minded, and then they find out differently. Sometimes I reduce it to numbers and tell a person "ya know, black people pay taxes too. Can't we all just see people as people?" Sometimes they get a look on there face like they never thought of it that way. Sometimes they are just stubborn, and you can see that on their face too.

So true, but keep in mind this wasn't happening yesterday, but 40 years ago, back in a time when the KKK still held rallies in IN.
I always wondered how many of them changed their way of thinking? Meaning this is no longer taboo, people are people. I know a fair number of Jan's "guests" were with their husbands. However, marriages disolve sometimes, and some of the ladies were single to start with. Being in Indiana, is not like being in some places like Alabama... If yoy know what I mean?
